Safety

Yea!   I know you don’t want to hear this because you’ve heard it all before, but warnings are there for a reason.

Saves a lot of accidents!!

On any construction site safety is important.

Tools are dangerous, i.e. craft knives and scalpels and to be honest anything with a sharp point needs a safety warning.  Oh yea that includes glue as well, especially super-glue.

I can tell you from experience that knives are dangerous.  My left thumb screams and runs away if I bring a craft knife anywhere near it.

I was making a cliff-side from polystyrene and was shaping it with a small knife.  Argh!  The knife slipped and the point went into the side of my thumb.  Because the point went in near the knuckle I went to the ER :( to check it out.

I now sport a 1cm a scar.

When you use a knife of any sort cut away from yourself.

When you use super glue do not get any onto your skin.

Keep it well away from eyes.

If you do glue fingers together or fingers to models don’t force them apart.
